About Findon
Findon is an established residential suburb about 6.5 km northwest of Adelaide's CBD in the City of Charles Sturt, founded in 1848 and named after a town in the UK near the original grantee's hometown. Sitting on flat terrain at around 12 metres elevation, it is known for its affordable mix of post-war housing and newer developments, with convenient access to coastal beaches at Grange and Henley, West Lakes Shopping Centre and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Findon Road, Crittenden Road and Grange Road are major thoroughfares.
