About Tuerong
Tuerong is a rural locality on the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne, Victoria, about 55 km south-east of the central business district. It lies inland between Mount Martha and Hastings, south of Moorooduc, and its dominant physical feature is the Devilbend Reservoir, a former water supply. The area was once the Tuerong squatting run, and the late-19th-century Tuerong homestead is now the restaurant and office of a local winery.
