About Balladoran
Balladoran is a rural locality in the Gilgandra Shire of western New South Wales, situated in open pastoral country on the Castlereagh River catchment. Developed as a way station on the Dubbo-to-Castlereagh road and later a railway siding, it was the first campsite of the famous Coo-ee Marchers in October 1915. The heritage-listed Balladoran Community Hall dates from the early 1920s.
