About Coolac

Coolac is a small village in the Riverina on the Olympic Highway, about 19 kilometres south of Gundagai in the Gundagai Council. First explored by Europeans during Charles Sturt's 1824 expedition, it was proclaimed a village in 1885. The Beehive Hotel and several nineteenth-century cottages survive as heritage landmarks.
